It is officially “crunch” time for Christmas. There are only a few shopping days left until Christmas Day arrives. For many of us, we still have a few last-minute Christmas gifts left to buy. If you’re like me, the gifts you have left to buy aren’t necessarily supposed to be from “you” but from your little ones. If you still have to take your little ones shopping for gifts for them to give parents, grand-parents and friends you may find the list below helpful, which can ultimately save you time!
1. Digital Keychain, Photo Frame or Snow Globe – All three of these ideas are great for recipients such as grandparents, parents, Aunts and Uncles. Why? Everyone has pictures they want to share with the world and look at on a regular basis…especially grandparents, parents and other relatives. Plus, you can preload pics, making it a ready-to-go-gift! The new digital photo frames and key chains make this possible! And, just today at Wal-Mart (back by the cameras) I saw a digital snow globe! These items vary in price, which makes it possible to find one within your budget.
2. Costume Jewelry – Right now, costume jewelry is back in style, making it one of the easiest last-minute gifts for little ones to pick out for their jewelry-loving relatives! Most kids, even little boys, enjoy picking out jewelry for people and a lot of costume jewelry is inexpensive, yet still pretty with a variety of different outfits. One of my favorite places to take our son for this is Dillard’s. Just the other day he picked out a necklace and matching earrings for his grandmother for under $35!
3. Sports Apparel – If dad is one of the last people your kids have left to buy for, you can easily take them to any sporting goods store and let them find a shirt, hat or other type of clothing piece featuring his team of choice. Most men love sports, making sports apparel an easy last-minute gift option for kids.
4. Massage, Manicure and/or Pedicure Gift Certificates – Most women, and even some men, enjoy visiting a day spa and being treated to a relaxing massage, manicure and/or pedicure. Therefore, if you have someone who enjoys this sort of thing left on your kids’ shopping list, take the kids in to a nearby day spa and purchase a gift certificate for the recipient to redeem when it’s convenient for him/her.
