Dear Valued Customer,

Happy New Year!

Can you believe 2019 is already here? The past year flew by at KidsFormal.com, and now, here it is January 1, 2019. It seems like just yesterday we were worried about the Y2K glitch…and that was 19 years ago!

Now that January is officially here, there are a slew of holidays coming up that may require you to purchase your children some new formal wear. For instance, in just a couple months Valentine’s Day will be here, which is when many families like to take family pictures. After Valentine’s Day, it’s time to start thinking about Easter, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Of course, there will be many of you with children who have birthdays during this time of year too – and yearly pictures will be in order, which requires a new dress or suit!

In addition to all of these great holidays, wedding season is on its way. Several brides may be planning winter weddings in January and February, but the majority of brides are looking at weddings in early spring to late summer – which means now is the time to be ordering the flower girl dresses and ring bearer tuxedos!

We have just added a lot of new products to the website that you should definitely check out. We’re certain that these items won’t last long with all of the formal events coming up shortly. Of course, we are always adding new products, but if you see something you like now then you better order it because, with our prices, it won’t be here long.

We do understand that Christmas was less than a month ago and that many of you are watching your finances as a result. So, as a New Year’s present to you, we are offering a 20% discount off any order with free shipping – regardless of how much your order comes to. There is no minimum order requirement! All you need to do is enter the coupon code “holiday20” at the time of check out. But hurry, because this offer is only good through today – January 1st!

At KidsFormal.com we want to wish you a very Happy New Year – and we hope that the entire year of 2019 brings you and your family many blessings!

Sincerely,

Your Friends at KidsFormal.com

Tips for shopping children’s formal clothing on a budget?

Dear Valued Customer,

As the flowers are beginning to bloom and sunny warm days are becoming more and more frequent, you’re most likely going to be doing a little spring cleaning around your house. It’s time to get rid of the old clothing that no longer fit and bring in the new!

While this is a fun time of year for everyone, it is also an expensive time of year for those with young children who are still growing. However, it is possible to shop for new kids’ clothing on a budget. Below are a few tips that will make this time of year easier on you…and your wallet.

  • Take Notes and Get Organized: One of the easiest ways to blow your budget when shopping for kids’ clothing is to go shopping without knowing what you really need. To prevent this, you should take the time to make notes as you clean out your children’s closets before you begin your clothes shopping!
  • Be Thrifty: One of the best ways to make your budget stretch is learning to be thrifty. There are several ways to achieve this. First, as you are sorting through your children’s clothing, carefully inspect each piece of clothing and determine whether or not it will work as a piece of “play” clothing for your child this summer. For example, your toddler may be wearing 4T shirts/pants now, but have some 3T shirts/shorts that will work just fine for outdoor play. This will limit the amount of clothing you have to buy.
  • Another great way to reduce your costs when shopping for kids’ clothing is to sell your children’s old clothing before you go shopping for new. You can also save a lot of money by accepting used clothing from family and friends with older children. While you obviously can’t do this for all clothing, there isn’t anything wrong with saving money on your kids’ “play” clothes.
  • Compare Prices: Once it is time to begin shopping for new spring and summer clothes for the kids, you need to take your time and compare prices. Not only should you be comparing the prices at your local stores, but you should also compare your local prices to those with online retailers. However, if you shop online, make sure you have the right sizes and measurements to ensure the ordered clothing fits properly.

While KidsFormal.com isn’t able to help you purchase all of the replacement clothing you will need this spring and summer for your kids, we are able to help you with the formal wear. While we encourage you to use the tips above when shopping with a budget, we are confident that we offer the best deals on children’s formalwear as our prices are exceptionally low for the quality of clothing your children will receive!

Sincerely,

Your Friends at KidsFormal.com

The Colors of Fall

Fall is such a beautiful time of year. It occurs in late September through the month of October and can even stretch into the beginning of November. Every year at this time, the countryside transforms into a beautiful landscape with shades of yellow, gold, orange and brown – all of different degrees and hues. These colors mix together to create a shimmering sea of gorgeous color that can take on many forms. Sometimes it appears to be a beautiful translucent sunset while others appear to be a fiery color with hints of yellow and gold. Regardless of how the colors come together, fall is without-a-doubt one of the most beautiful times of the year.

All the colors of fall such as yellow, gold, orange and brown have inspired many decorators around the world. The colors go so well together, regardless of whether they are decorating a bedroom or creating a fashionable gown. Many fall weddings have incorporated these colors for decorations. Not only are they beautiful colors, but they also are very warm and inviting colors. One really can’t go wrong when using these colors for a fall wedding. When bridesmaids and flower girls wear dresses in any of these shades and carry flowers combining the other colors, it creates a wedding full of color and warmth! If you love yellow, gold, orange and brown, but can’t decide between them – choose to combine them all for a gorgeous and unforgettable fall wedding theme!
