Dear Valued Customer,
Fall has finally arrived for most of us as the temperatures are starting to cool slightly. It won’t be too long before the leaves begin changing colors and you’re taking your kids shopping for Halloween costumes. Then, the holidays will be right around the corner. As you probably know, from now until the first of the new is a magical time for children as they begin to think about Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s and all of the festivities that accompany each holiday. Therefore, in the honor of our children, we thought we’d share with you a few things that adults can learn from their kids.
Enjoy the Moment – If you’ve ever watched a toddler play, then you know that he/she is living in the moment. Toddlers (and other young children) don’t trouble themselves with what might happen tomorrow or next week…nor do they spend any time fretting over the problems that occurred yesterday. Now, as adults, we have to stay on top of things which naturally ties yesterday into today and possibly tomorrow. However, the point is to learn to let go a little bit. Each day find time to spend with your family and just live in the moment without thinking about anything else. Don’t Give Up – Have you ever stopped to think about all the things you did as a kid that were just flat out dangerous? Most of the time when we think about these things, we are swapping stories with friends and laughing about them. However, have you thought about why you did those things? For most of us, it was just to see if we could…especially if you are a guy! However, now that we are “grown up” and have kids of our own we tend to play it…
